			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The longer I observe the trends in my mental state when I&#8217;m going out, the longer I realize that approaching chicks is just something you gotta force yourself to do, just like going to the gym, or getting out of bed in the morning.</p>
<p>When you&#8217;ve been approaching a LOT and making a real habit out of it, it feels like a wild relief to just be able to go to the bar and sit there having a beer.  You feel like all the pressure is off,  and I&#8217;ve found it actually makes you better off.  It&#8217;s very easy to pull girls because you&#8217;re sitting back like a regular dude, not acting weird or creepy or overly energetic or any of that shit that can be miscalibrated when you approach&#8230; yet your social skills are finely tuned because you&#8217;ve been practicing them hardcore lately, so if a chick does come your way and you end up chatting, you&#8217;re probably gonna draw that bitch right into your web.</p>
<p>BUT&#8230; if you use this approach for too long, you will grow stifled and anti-social, and revert to your old chodely ways.  Your aggressive social demeanor will fade and your little &#8220;alpha energy waves&#8221; or whatever will deplete.  Just like with the gym.  You can skip for a while, and when you come back you actually feel STRONGER, because your body has been healing.  But if you wait too long&#8230; you will really lose some of that work you put in.</p>
<p>The answer, of course, is balance.  Push yourself on a regular basis&#8230; but not so much that you go into overtraining.  Just like you can overtrain in the gym where your body starts to eat itself, you can overtrain in picking up chicks.. you start to feel strung out like a robot, driven more to approach and do stupid little things that are otherwise meaningless to you, and focusing less on the good feelings in your body and the experience itself.</p>
<p>The longer you work out (or pick up chicks) the further you can push yourself and still remain within your comfort zone.  Yet you can never abandon the fundamentals.  Just like you can&#8217;t work out for 3 years, get ultra buff, and then say you&#8217;ve gotten yourself &#8220;in shape&#8221; and quit the gym forever &#8230; neither can you get pickup &#8220;handled&#8221; and then quit doing cold approaches and just rely on your social skills.</p>
<p>Exercise and regular routines are always necessary.  It&#8217;s about becoming comfortable with your schedule and maintaining that balance between pushing your boundaries and enjoying yourself comfortably so that people fully enjoy your company.</p>
